General
Polymer-housed metal-oxide surge arrester is the scientific achievement that combines the advantages of organic insulation material and traditional porcelain-clad MOA technique. It has excellent insulation performance, high dialectical strength, anti-leaking, anti-electric corrosion, heat-resisting, cold-resisting, anti-aging, explosion-proof, and good chemical stability, hydrophobic property, and nice sealing. It is designed and manufactured strictly following the standard of IEC and GB, and achieves advantage against the competitive international products.
Normal Service conditions
- For indoors and outdoors;
- Ambient air temperature within the range of -40℃~+40℃;
- Altitude not exceeding 2600m;
- Frequency for A.C. power supply not less than 48Hz and not exceeding 62Hz;
- Power Frequency voltage applied continuously between the terminals of the arrester not exceeding its continuous operating voltage;
- Earthquake intensity: 8 degree and below;
- Maximal wind velocity not exceeding 35m/s.

Normal service conditions include indoor/outdoor installation, ambient temperatures from -40℃ to +40℃, altitude not exceeding 2600m, A.C. power frequency between 48Hz and 62Hz, wind velocity up to 35m/s, and earthquake intensity of 8 degrees or below.
