China XGN (XGTD6)-12(2Indoor Gas Insulated Metal-Enclosed Switchgear Suppliers & Factory
General
The primary live parts and switches of the switchgear are enclosed in a stainless steel casing, which protects them from external environmental influences. The switchgear employs a modular design, allowing for arbitrary arrangement according to different design schemes to achieve combinations of common-box and expandable units. This meets the demand for compact switchgear in various secondary distribution substations. It can be widely applied in small secondary distribution stations, box-type switchgear stations, industrial and mining enterprises, airports, railways, commercial districts, high-rise buildings, highways, subways, tunnels, and other places with harsh natural conditions.

Product features and structure
Product features
Reasonable design
- Modular design to realize flexible combination and expansion: Functional modularity includes load switch unit (C), load switch + fuse combination unit (F), circuit breaker unit (V), metering cabinet unit (M), bus Pt unit (PT), etc. The switchgear can be combined into a common box type non-expandable fixed ring network switchgear through various standard unit modules (in the same SF6 insulated gas box, a total of 6 units can be achieved). Different module combinations can also be designed into expandable units. It can achieve many forms of combination through general full insulation and full shielding bus connection, which can meet the demand for different places, different forms, and different needs of customers, providing a variety of designs for power supply and distribution.
- Others: The user interface and cable wiring are located in the front of the cabinet, which is convenient for users to operate. The instructions of the operation panel are clear, simple, easy to understand, and the interlocking is reliable, so as to effectively prevent and avoid misoperation.
High safety and reliability
- The primary live part and the switch body are sealed in the stainless steel air box, which is connected to the outside through the bushing to avoid direct contact with the live body. The equipment has a reliable pressure relief device and pressure relief channel, which ensures the safety of personnel and equipment in case of failure; It has a perfect mechanical interlocking device, which can prevent misoperation.
- Fully insulated and sealed design: The primary live part (main bus) of the panel and switch itself are sealed in the gas tank of welded stainless steel plate. The main circuit is connected to the external through DIN47636 standard bushing that is installed on the gas tank. It can also be connected to the input and output cable by full insulation, shielding all fully sealed separable connectors. And the protection grade of the gas tank box reaches IP67. The inside of the gas tank is not affected by the external environment. It also has the short-term resistance function of flood and condensation.
Small volume
Small volume, saving floor space.
Less maintenance
The high-voltage insulation is not affected by the external environment, and is not easy to age. It adopts a maintenance-free vacuum (arc interrupter) switch, which is almost maintenance-free, has a long life cycle and low operating costs.
Strong environmental adaptability
The high-pressure components are sealed in a gas-filled metal shell, which is especially suitable for harsh environments such as high altitude, severe cold, humidity, salt spray, and pollution.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1: What standards does the switchgear comply with?
A1: The switchgear is designed and manufactured in full compliance with major international and national standards, including IEC62271-200, EN50181, GB/T3906, GB/T11022, DL/T404, GB/T1984, GB/T1985, GB/T20840, and GB/T11032.
Q2: Can this switchgear be used in harsh environmental conditions?
A2: Yes. High-voltage components are sealed inside a gas-filled stainless steel enclosure with an IP67 protection rating, protecting them from ambient factors such as dust, humidity, salt spray, and pollution. It operates reliably in temperatures ranging from -45℃ to +50℃ and is suitable for high altitudes up to 4000m.
Q3: How does the modular design benefit secondary distribution stations?
A3: The modular design allows for a flexible layout tailored to different design schemes. It supports both common-box configurations (up to 6 units inside a single SF6 gas tank) and expandable configurations using fully insulated and shielded bus connectors, making it highly compact and versatile.
Q4: What safety features are integrated into the switchgear?
A4: The switchgear is designed with a fully insulated and sealed structure, preventing direct contact with live parts. It features reliable mechanical interlocking devices to prevent misoperation, as well as dedicated pressure relief channels and devices to protect operators and equipment in the event of an internal fault.
Q5: What are the maintenance requirements for the switchgear?
A5: This switchgear is virtually maintenance-free. High-voltage insulation is sealed off from external environmental degradation, and it utilizes a high-durability vacuum switch (arc interrupter) that has a long operational life cycle and significantly reduces long-term operating costs.
Q6: What are the typical physical dimensions for different unit configurations?
A6: The standard depth and height are 750mm and 1600mm respectively (excluding the secondary instrument room). The width (W) varies by the number of units: 375mm for 1 unit, 700mm for 2 units, 1025mm for 3 units, 1350mm for 4 units, 1675mm for 5 units, and 2000mm for 6 units, with an additional 325mm for each extra unit.
