Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What are the primary applications of this switchgear?
This switchgear is commonly used in power stations, power substations, movable transformer packs, and buildings with a nominal voltage of 35kV or below. It is particularly designed to perform reliably in severe environments, including high altitude, heavy pollution, and high humidity.
What is the maximum altitude for standard operation?
The switchgear is rated for altitudes up to 5000m above sea level. However, if your equipment will operate above 1000m, please specify this during ordering so that manufacturing can adjust the internal gas inflation pressure accordingly.
What are the protection ratings (IP grade) for the compartments?
The High Voltage (HV) gas compartment features an IP67 protection rating, offering complete protection against dust and temporary water immersion. The Low Voltage (LV) compartment has an IP4X protection rating to safeguard against solid objects.
What is the gas leakage rate and working pressure of the insulation gas?
The rated working pressure of the insulation gas is 0.05 MPa (at 20℃) with a minimum operating pressure limit of 0.03 MPa. The annual loss rate of the insulation gas is exceptionally low, strictly controlled at ≤5‰.
Can the switchgear operate in extreme temperatures and high seismic zones?
Yes, the switchgear operates in ambient temperatures ranging from -25℃ to +40℃ (with a daily average not exceeding 35℃). It is also rated to withstand seismic intensities up to grade 8. If your environmental conditions exceed these standard specifications, please consult the manufacturer for customized solutions.
