KYN61-40.5 Air-Insulated Withdrawable Metal-Clad Switchgear

KYN61-40.5 withdrawable metal-clad switchgear (hereinafter called KYN61 switchgear), is a cost effective and reliable switchgear, they are fitted with 40.5kV three phase AC single busbar and single sectional systems. 

 

It can be used in Power Distribution of Substation with transmission and transformation system, wind farm, iron and steel works, petroleum and chemical industry, mining enterprises, paper and food industries, for control, protection, monitoring.

    Detail introduction

    In the KYN61-40.5 withdrawable AC metal-clad switchgear, the handcart is equipped with an integrated ZN85 (VTD9) ND4-40.5 vacuum circuit breaker or a corresponding SF6 circuit breaker as the main switch. The design is compact, with superior performance and high reliability.

    KYN61 switchgear comply with the standards: IEC62271-200, GB3906 as well as many other national specifications, with reliable "five-protection interlock" function, providing a safer environment for the operators,with high structure strength, safe and user-friendly, reduced installation and maintenance costs, can completely satisfy user requirements.

                                            Monthly average relative humidity ≤90%
    d. Seismic resistant level: < Grade 8
    e. Ambient air should be free of the pollution of corrosive or flammable gases, vapor, etc.

    Structure features

    KYN61 switchgear is designed as per the standard of metal-clad switchgear, conforms to IEC 62271 and GB/T3906. It mainly includes panel structure and the withdrawable part. The panel itself consists of four independent compartments: busbar compartment, circuit breaker compartment, cable compartment, low voltage compartment. The protection degree of enclosure is IP4X, and P2X for compartments. The withdrawable part includes the main switch (or other functional components)and support part. (The structure is shown in drawing 1)

    KYN61 switchgear provides bottom and overhead incoming and outgoing cable types, typical scheme including incomer, feeder, metering, measuring coupler, etc.
